The Orange County Veterans Employment Committee (OCVEC) is an all volunteer nonprofit dedicated to serving
transitioning military members of all branches of service as well as disadvantaged Veterans by providing assistance to remove barriers that may prevent them from obtaining employment.
The OCVEC believes we can make a difference by giving the Veteran a hand-up, not a hand-out thus preventing possible long term unemployment and homelessness.
We work to make a difference in the lives of those who served for us by providing employment related support such as OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certification, Security Guard Card Certification, Forklift Certification State Licensing Fees, Career Development Workshops, Employment Matchmaking Events and On-Boarding Support for gas cards, bus passes, tools, work and interview clothing, shoes, boots, and refurbished laptops for Veterans who land jobs and become gainfully employed.
